Children injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza are being evacuated

Children are the main victims of the atrocities that Israel is carrying out in Gaza, Palestine. More than 16,000 children have been killed in the valley during the 19-month-long attack. That means one child has died every 40 minutes. The Gaza Health Ministry reported this information yesterday, Monday.

Health Ministry official Marwan al-Hams held a press conference at the Khan Younis Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza on Monday. He said that the total number of children killed in the Israe /script>li attack is 16,278. Of these, 908 are very young children and 311 are newborns.

Israel has been carrying out indiscriminate attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023. Although a two-month ceasefire was in place earlier this year, Israeli forces violated it on March 18 and resumed attacks. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, a total of 52,615 people have been killed during this period. 118,752 Palestinians have been injured. Many people are still missing.

Marwan al-Hams said at a press conference that Israel has not allowed any relief aid to enter Gaza since March 2. This has worsened the situation of ordinary people in the valley. Thousands of children and pregnant women are not receiving medical care. Many children have to eat only once a day. There is a severe shortage of drinking water.

In the meantime, Israel has approved a new plan for the "occupation" of Gaza. As part of this, it is said that Palestinians will be evacuated to the south of the valley. This puts Gaza residents at risk of further displacement. Marwan al-Hams said that children are living in refugee camps without basic necessities. Women are facing challenges in going to hospitals.

In such a situation, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich issued a new warning about Gaza on Tuesday. He said that they are in a position to "declare victory within a few months" in Gaza. Very soon, the valley will be "completely destroyed". The people there will be evacuated to the south. Then they will be sent to a third country from there.
